It took me some time, but I managed to get the DHTML Chess Widget working. Below you can find 1001 Brilliant Checkmates as a kind of exercise. You can make the moves by dragging and dropping a piece.
As soon as you have solved a problem the next problem will be loaded.
The widget works in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, but unfortunately not in Opera and Safari.

Thanks for posting the chess puzzles; I really enjoy them.
It was a game of India originally, and therefore, I’m a natural.

Very nice!
Isn’t Qa5+ possible as well?
I assume you’re right, because some of these have more than one solution.
Without the number of the puzzle it’s impossible to check this.
For #579, 2. … Qb8+ would work as well, but the widget only allows 2. … Qc7+. Really cool though!
Yes,
#579:
1…Bh2+ 2.Kxh2 Qc7+
( 2…Qb8+ 3.Bf4 Qxf4+ 4.Kg1 Qg3# )
3.Bf4 Qxf4+ 4.Kg1 Qg3# 0-1
This current version of this widget only allow one variation, but I still wanted to use it to demonstrate it’s possibilities to publish chess puzzles on a WordPress site.
Really like these puzzles. Sometimes though, I am surprised that a move results in checkmate, and wish I could review but the new puzzle loads so can’t.
Anyway, they could be set up as such?

Maybe I can adapt these in such a way that it will also be possible to select a puzzle by number, but at the moment it isn’t possible.
Would it be possible to have a pause button to temporarily stop the loading process into the next puzzle. I know nothing about programming and am sure it shows!
It’s also possible not to do the final move, but everything can be made and takes time
#564: Qc3 also mate, no?
Yes, I even find this a more brilliant mate.
Yes is it possible to get a tutorial on how to install the tactics trainer ? I would even be willing to pay for that.
Thanks for the help,
Carl
As soon as I have more time I’ll see what I can do.
